Công thức

Each / every + N số ít	Each / Every + N số ít + V số ít Every candidate receives a score report.
Both / all + N số nhiều	Both / All (of the) + N số nhiều + V số nhiều Both options have advantages.
Either / neither + N số ít	Either / Neither + N số ít + V số ít Neither solution is perfect.
Câu phủ định / câu hỏi	S + don't + V + any + N We don't have any data for 2015.
No = not any	There is / are + no + N There were no female engineers in 1990.

Cách dùng

This/these (gần, hiện tại) – that/those (xa, quá khứ)
These days, few people send letters; in those days, everyone did. – Ngày nay ít người gửi thư; hồi đó thì ai cũng gửi.
Some trong câu khẳng định và lời mời; any trong câu phủ định / câu hỏi
Would you like some advice? – I don't need any, thanks. – Bạn có cần lời khuyên không? – Không cần đâu, cảm ơn.
Each: từng cái riêng lẻ (thường nhóm nhỏ); every: tất cả, nhìn chung
Each student gives a short presentation; every class lasts 90 minutes. – Mỗi học sinh thuyết trình ngắn; mọi lớp học đều kéo dài 90 phút.
Both (cả hai) – either (một trong hai) – neither (không cái nào trong hai)
You can take either bus; both go to the city centre. – Bạn có thể đi xe buýt nào cũng được; cả hai đều tới trung tâm.
Another / other / the other
One advantage is cost; another is convenience. – Một ưu điểm là chi phí; một ưu điểm khác là sự tiện lợi.

💡 Khi có the/my/these… phía sau, phải thêm of: all of the students, each of my friends, neither of the solutions. Each of / every one of + N số nhiều nhưng động từ vẫn số ít: Each of the rooms has a window.

💡 Every không đứng một mình, cũng không đi với of. Muốn nói "mỗi người trong số…" dùng each of hoặc every one of.

Lỗi hay gặp

❌ ~~Every students have a laptop.~~
✅ Every student has a laptop.
Every + danh từ số ít + động từ số ít.

❌ ~~There are another reasons for this trend.~~
✅ There are other reasons for this trend.
Another chỉ đi với danh từ số ít; số nhiều dùng other.

❌ ~~Both of option are expensive.~~
✅ Both options are expensive. / Both of the options are expensive.
Both + N số nhiều, hoặc both of + the/my + N số nhiều.
