Mục đích thư I am writing to draw your attention to the condition of Elm Park, which is located next to my street.

Ý 1 The park covers a large area and includes a playground, a small lake and several footpaths. Ten years ago, it was always full of families and joggers. Nowadays, however, it is mainly used by dog walkers, and very few children play there.

Ý 2 The main reason is that the park has been neglected. The playground equipment is old and some of it is unsafe to use. In addition, there are not enough rubbish bins, so litter is everywhere, and several streetlights are broken, which makes people feel uneasy in the evening.

Ý 3 I would suggest replacing the playground equipment and installing more bins. Repairing the lights would also make the park safer. Finally, the council could organise community events, such as outdoor concerts, to attract visitors back.
