Mục đích thư I am writing to apply for the position of part-time weekend guide at the City History Museum.

Ý 1 I came across your advertisement on the noticeboard at the central library last week, and I was delighted to see that you are looking for new staff.

Ý 2 I am currently in my final year of a history degree, so I have a thorough knowledge of the local area and its past. Moreover, I spent last summer working as a tour guide for a travel company, where I led groups of up to thirty people. This experience taught me how to speak confidently in public and deal with unexpected questions. I also speak fluent French, which might be useful for foreign visitors.

Ý 3 My lectures finish on Fridays, so I would be available to work every Saturday and Sunday. I could also attend an interview on any weekday afternoon.
