Mở bài Mass tourism has placed enormous pressure on famous cities and natural wonders, prompting some authorities to charge visitors an entry fee. While critics claim this is unfair to poorer travellers, I believe such fees are justified if they are carefully designed.

Thân bài 1 Câu chủ đề Those who support entry fees point to the damage caused by overcrowding. Giải thích Huge numbers of visitors wear down ancient buildings, pollute beaches and push up rents for local residents. A fee can discourage casual day-trippers and generate money for maintenance and conservation. Ví dụ Venice, for example, introduced a charge for day visitors in order to ease congestion in its narrow streets and fund the protection of its historic centre.

Thân bài 2 Câu chủ đề On the other hand, opponents argue that fees turn travel into a privilege of the wealthy. Giải thích For families on modest incomes, even a small charge adds up when combined with transport and accommodation, and they may be priced out of experiences that should belong to everyone. Moreover, wealthy tourists, who often cause just as much disruption, would hardly notice the extra cost. Such a policy could also deepen social divisions by reserving cultural treasures for those who can afford them.

Quan điểm Câu chủ đề In my view, the solution lies in a flexible pricing system rather than abolishing fees altogether. Charges could be higher during peak seasons and lower or free for students, children and low-income groups. Crucially, the revenue should be reinvested in the site and the local community, so that visitors can see the benefit of what they pay.

Kết bài In conclusion, although entry fees may place a burden on less affluent travellers, I believe they are necessary to protect popular destinations, provided that discounts and free days ensure that everyone still has a fair chance to visit.
